I've written before that meetings were too small a frame for Char. This is what we meant by that.
What "writing back" actually looks like
You drop a thought or a task into the page. Char doesn't just save it. Mention it inline and it responds in place, using whatever context is already on the page.
It goes further than replying. Drop a task list in and Char surfaces what's relevant next to it — a related decision, an open question, something pulled from your own notes.
The writing is the input.
The direction: a super connector
Char is heading toward being the connective layer across the tools you already use — Linear, GitHub, Gmail, your calendar, your meetings. It sits on top, remembers, and does the routing you'd otherwise do by hand, instead of replacing any of them.
Meetings are one input among several now. The more it connects to, the more it has to write back with.
